Diamond and Creative Release New Drivers for Popular Boards
July 4th, 2007
Owners of the popular Supra NetCommander ISDN card from Diamond Multimedia can now run the card under Windows NT 4.0, thanks to the release of new device drivers.
Diamond’s Supra NetCommander is an internal ISDN card that supports one 64-kilobit-per-second data channel and one 64-kbps voice channel, two combined 64-kbps channels for 128-kbps bandwidth, or Multilink-PPP Bandwidth-on-Demand, where the second channel can be used dynamically according to line conditions.
Creative Labs has also released Windows NT drivers for the Sound Blaster 16 and 32 bit cards, as well as the AWE 32 and 64 cards, including the AWE64 Gold. These drivers support SoundFont 2.0, both Plug and Play and non-PnP legacy cards, and the Windows NT 4.0 PnP manager.
Also available are the Windows 95 drivers for the 3D Blaster PCI card, which support DirectX 3.0.
