HR for PCs: Policies Now 5.0 for Windows

Work for a company that’s not quite big enough to hire a
personnel manager? Policies Now 5.0 for Windows is a major step forward from the
DOS version of this employee-handbook generator. I looked at a shipping copy.
The process starts with an interactive interview about personnel policies. After you answer 2 to 15 questions per subject, Policies Now generates a professionally worded
policy statement and corresponding entries in a table of contents and index.
You can edit the text of the handbook or modify the terms going into the
index. The book can be printed from within the application, exported to
a word processor or graphics program, or automatically tagged with HTML
code for publication on an intranet.
Policies Now is a good personnel tool for a new company, and the $99 street price is hard to beat.
